Vintage Hankie Party Favors
Fill vintage floral hankies with potpourri or chocolate kisses and tie with a pretty bow for a unique favor at your next bridal shower. For a baby shower, use children's hankies.
Vintage Hankie Lamp Shades
Turn a plain lamp shade into a shabby chic statement. Layer vintage hankies and secure at the top with a rubber band, tucking and hiding the extra. Cover the band with trims or pretty ribbon and bow.
Bonus no damage to your good hankies!
Dressed Up Pillows
I LOVE the way this turned out! I almost wish I had more damaged hankies. My bad dog got a hold of this poor hanky and shredded the other half. So I cut off the good side, sewed it to the top of a plain white pillowcase, and added a grosgrain ribbon trim.
Curtain Tie-backs
Bring those pretty hankies out of the drawer and dress up your windows! Simply fold in half and tie in a small knot or better yet, put those vintage clip earrings to work for you.
