Description:
This is a stunning antique toile that likely dates between the late 1800's to the early 1900's. It features large pastoral scenes where instruments are being played among friends and animals. You will also notice beautiful rose swags, Cherubs and statuesque women surrounding floral vases. The color is a dark aubergine on a tan background. Excellent unused yardage. No holes and color is vibrant. There is one mark near the edge and scuff-type marks on the opposite selvage. Price is for the entire 2+Yd piece. Measures selvage to selvage 31"W x 73"L.
